You are an individual insofar as you get to shop around for your individual identity in the free market. What brand are you? Rugged individualism, wise professor, (insert benign subculture here).
Social stratification makes its way through most interpersonal relationships in some sort or another. Competition for popularity gets us the goods. In order to sell your product you need your brand to be known and popular. Your politics became a marketing strategy. Politics became fashion.
The damn commies are afraid of their own dialectical process. As knowledge advances and new ideas are imagined off the framework of their own savior Marx back and forth in a dialectical manner advancing and growing off what he did, they decided to stay stuck in 1917 clinging to a doctrine over a hundred years past at this point. Fear is on sale. It is good for elections. Our PR Propaganda thrives on selling you the security of the Police State and Military Industrial Complex.
